Robert spent the month of July 2006 working as the summer artist-in-residence at the National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. His residency included painting daily in the museum so visitors could watch and ask questions, giving lectures and leading discussions with both visitors and staff members, and conducting informal art instruction.
During March of 2007, Robert taught a plein air painting course in Franschhoek, South Africa. This sell-out class was hosted by Grande Provence Wine Estate on their beautiful grounds.
