PAINTING IN THE KALAHARI

Since the summer of 2009, Robert and his wife, Lee, have been living part of each summer in the Kalahari in South Africa. Painting in the Kalahari involves unique challenges, not the least of which is keeping an eye out for lions or other predators. Robert has authored a book that combines his landscape paintings with his wildlife photographs. KALAHARI SUMMER IN PHOTOGRAPHS AND OILS is published by Random House Struik in Cape Town and is available in South Africa currently and is now available from robertgrogan@cox.net or from this website.

Please visit the KALAHARI SUMMER page of this website for further details and to see images from the book.
